it's a friday.

and it's the lent season.

it means no meat on friday so i texted mom just to be sure. she replied that it's my choice whether to follow or to not. i think it isn't an obligation but something you do as a sign of respect. i guess im old enough to make the decision. i choose to respect. no meat on fridays for me.

i thank God for my wonderful family. without them, i wouldn't have the courage to stand up again. there's still a long way to go. i'm with you.
